October, 2004: Growth and Changes at AsmaraHR

During the past quarter, AsmaraHR has brought on additional clients and is expanding its services throughout the U.S. In order to continue to provide quality service and personal attention for our clients and employees, we have made some changes and expanded our AsmaraHR staff.

What was formerly known as the Payroll and Benefits Department is now the Client Services Department. Managing this department is Jan Whitford, MSL, SPHR. Jan has 15 years experience in human resources management. Prior to joining AsmaraHR, Jan operated her own HR consulting business.

Joining the Client Service Department is Wendy Antonich. Wendy recently relocated to Charlotte from Plymouth, Michigan where she worked in human resources recruiting, payroll and benefits. Wendy will serve our clients and employees as our Client Services Representative.

With the expansion in our Sales and Marketing, Ignacio “Nach” Vasquez, has joined our team as the North Carolina Regional Sales Manager. Nach’s experience includes over 30 years of sales, service and operations management with the IBM Corporation.

With our growth, we have had the need to expand our Accounting Department. Kevin Callinan joins the AsmaraHR team as the Senior Staff Accountant. Kevin has 10 years experience in accounting and possesses a vast knowledge of our new HRIS system.

Also joining our Accounting Department is Greg Lofton. Greg worked this year with AsmaraHR as a contract employee and recently accepted the position as our Staff Accountant. Greg brings with him 4 years of accounting experience.

AsmaraHR is committed to service our clients and employees with prompt and courteous service. We are happy to be able to provide this through the experience and professional staff such as Jan, Wendy, Nach, Kevin and Greg.
