What is a Professional Employer Organization or PEO? A PEO is a company which contractually manages human resources, personnel responsibilities, employer risks for clients by establishing and maintaining a co-employer relationship with client employees.

Why a PEO? The PEO absorbs responsibility and liability for the “business of employment” while the client company manages product development and service initiatives. In addition, the PEO establishes an employment relationship with the worksite employee and provides solutions to the complex challenges that face business owners today.
